Even though I'm sighing and thinking 'Readers First, not another children's book?' I can appreciate this is likely to be an entertaining read for kids. The illustrations are great and I like the descriptions of the magic tricks. It kind of annoys me that Stephen Mulhern gets the main billing as author when it's clearly a collaboration with another more experienced author. However, I guess equal billing wouldn't sell so many books...
