What I enjoyed straight away was the opening line at the very beginning of the book before the chapter. I think the way it was put as was captivating toward young readers -is Like Mulhern was trying to get the readers attention- in a very good way! Also love the magic hat on some of the pages! it most definitely adds detail to it all.
