What a brilliant children's book. The cover is instantly eye catching to any child or parent. But look at the blue edging, towards the bottom. Can you see what appears to be a water stain. That is where the magic begins. Open it and flip the pages for the magic to fly from the pages.
This is a story that has everything friends,family, fun and Bottley the big bad bully. While there is also a run in with the notorious Crayfish twins and the antics that follow. As you would expect, a story where one of the authors is Stephen Mulhern there is going to be lots of magic. At the centre of it all is Max and his magic, they're definitely not just tricks. An absolutely perfect book to get a child reading. Full of adventure and excitement on every page. An unbelievably good read. Co written with Tom Easton who has written lots of great books. This is well worth reading
