Upon first getting the book we really liked the front cover and the blue outer paper edges. The book was a very entertaining read and we enjoyed learning about telekinesis and learning more about magic. The main character Max was really likeable and funny but did not have it easy with Bottley and the Crayfish Twins not being on his side. It was great to see Max get some extra magic powers in the book and the pictures really added to the story too. We would recommend this book because it is an adventure and magic story and it is fun. The learn how to do magic QR code step by step guide by Stephen Mulhern and magic trick pages were a good bonus to have after having read the story and they are inspiring. Stephen Mulhern did the step by step guide with all his usual enthusiasm, humour and charm and made us laugh alot. We look forward to the next book coming out soon.
