My son absolutely loved this book. His review…”Max was a kind and helpful. He did magic tricks and they were really good. When Max went his Grans antique shop, I loved the chest that he found and got a special hat from it and some magic stuff inside. I also really liked the magic hat in the bottom of each of the pages and when you flipped it it looked like stars were coming out of the hat. The pictures were great and the front cover was bright.”
It was really great to see my son enjoy this book so much. This was his first chapter books that he read independently and he couldn’t wait to pick it up each evening after being a huge fan of Stephen Mulhern. The sprayed edges also blew his mind. Thankyou for the book - this has really supported his independent reading and I would definitely look to buy another Stephen Mulhern book for him in the future. Great book.
