I thoroughly enjoyed the first couple of chapters of this book. The premise is intriguing, and I found the writing style attractive. The prologue, I found, built tension in a very skilful manner - my heart was racing by the end, and even though the character had only just been introduced, I was rooting for Una in a big way. I also wonder (which is a good thing to do at the start of a book!) what has caused the hatred between Fern and Ollie, what is “wrong” with Fern that makes others stare at her (I imagine, from hints dropped thus far, something to do with her eyes), and just who the mysterious texter is... I can’t wait to find out what happens next, and would love the opportunity to find out!
