This book is full of descriptions, in my opinion excessively so, as if every sentence needed to be fully decorated. (In a similar manner to that gold-baroque type room in certain tower..) However, to be fair to the author, thriller and sci-fi have never been my cup of tea, and it is undeniable that the book has the power to draw you into the story for the very ealry pages.
