Although I am not necessarily the target audience for this I do occasionally read and enjoy YA fantasy. I must admit the cover didn't entice me in, but the blurb was interesting enough for me to take a look. The extract proves to me that I'm not the right audience for this, that's not to say there's anything wrong with it, it's just not for me.
