The book starts a tremendous pace and barely lets up the whole way through the excerpt! I think this book will either have to be read all in one go or in a lot of small instalments, depending on how much the reader can take at once. Even in the short extract, I was sort of peeking through my fingers, really wanting to know what happened next, but not if the character would be in more danger.
