This book was a great comfort read. I loved our main characters and the world building. However I wasn't a massive fan of the aesthetics in this book. I am not going to lie i did read this book initially because i loved the book cover, but i totally don't regret this read whatsoever. It did take me a while to read but i still recommend this to those of you who love a good YA/NA fantasy read. I would have loved more female characters but its still well worth the read. I do suggest looking at the fan art for this book once you've read it because it is equally as good and i loved seeing the story come to life just as i had imagined it. the hardback version of this book is stunning and min love with just holding the book. if you aren't a fantasy type lover then i don't think this book is for you but if you are, i promise this will be well worth your time and money as i certainly don't regret it.
