Fern King is one of the few who travel to Annwn awake. She joins an order that is dedicated to protecting the dreamers from nightmares made real. Her relationship with her twin brother, also in Annwn, is tangled with the pain of past betrayals. She must confront these demons to move forward.
I found this book original and creative and yet also derivative in places. Partly because it takes the legend of Arthur and reshapes it into Annwn. Very enjoyable, I will read the next one.
