This is a wonderful debut novel which certainly makes me excited for the next installments within this trilogy.
A fast-paced and intelligent plot with an immense fictional world which draws you in from the get go.
This book has a strong premise, imaginative story which is detailed to such an extent with a lovely writing style, you just feel totally immersed in this fictional world.
The world building itself is detailed oriented and fabulous.
The Protagonist is a well defined and relatable person with a great character arch. In fact, all the characters are unique, flawed and you can't help but root for them to succeed in their adventure.
The lore of this series seems loosely based on Welsh folklore which is interesting for me to read as I have not come across a book yet that has that element.
