The premise of the book alone is incredible, but the epic dream world that the author has created is so full of magic and wonder, it’s hard to believe that this is her first novel. Mystery is woven in with the magic, giving the story an eerie feel, which only intensifies the more that Fern finds out. Fern herself grows throughout the novel, and it's wonderful to see her learning more about herself and her relationship with her twin brother. I was so excited when I found out that this was set to be a trilogy! From emotional battles, to beloved characters, this is the first in a new trilogy that I will be eagerly following!
