When you read the blurb you know this is going to take you an emotional journey of a twelve year olds perspective and live through world war two. Immediately from the first page your hit with the raw emotion of the birth and honestly that was all a little to descriptive and intense for my liking. The cover of the book is striking and would definitely appeal to me on a shelve, however I think this may just be a little to intense for my liking
