I couldn't give this less than 4 stars because I still feel the enormity in which this genre ensues. Those passionately interested in ww2 will find this book a good read. I did find it a little less gripping than other books to start, mainly I felt it was much more descriptive 'wordy' than needed for me prefereably. However I stuck at it, and I was pleased I did. I became gripped in the tale between these two sisters, the love and bond that the author creates with her beautiful writing. The language used to paint the vivid frightening picture of what the sisters went through and the experiences they shared. It is elegantly written and the importance is portrayed. I would recommend to those of a similar interest.
