I read this book over a couple of days and I liked it. I really like the characters in this book and how they're all connected and how their stories are told. Their lives intertwine in an interesting way. I also liked the setting of the bookshop, although I did think that there would be more about the bookshop in it than there was but that didn't stop me liking it. I also liked the touch of magic which was different for a contemporary, chick-lit book. I was worried that the magical elements might be too much, as I'd read some people's reviews about how prominent the magic is, but for me it was just enough to make it work but not too much to spoil the true meaning of the story. Overall I liked this book (which I thought I would when I read the description), I would recommend it to those who like this genre.
