She seems to signal a change.I liked the description of Ella's frustration trying to write when inspiration deserts you-know how that feels first-hand. We experience her thoughts and feelings vividly. The use of language is excellent. There are hints and clues but the author is careful to make sure you stay in the moment and don't race ahead. I was hooked from the first page. If you like something a little mystical but also rooted in the real world then this is for you. Can't wait to read the rest.
