The cover of the book is cute and simple with its silhouetted features and a dash of colour here and there, I like the simplicity and can relate to a woman sitting down with a stack of books waiting to be read one after the other. (Simply a pleasure amongst everyone I'm sure)

The story overall was great. It begins with a stressed out mother named Ella (again relatable for many people) trying to find time to write her own Novel, her second one to be exact.
Her mother moved to America to branch our to more customers for her vintage clothes store, Ella has taken over her mothers old store and opened her own book shop suitably called Happily ever after (a huge dream come true for any book lover)

At her store she meets Bryony who intrigues Ella even more so when she buys the last copy of Miss Mary's book of dreams, a rare magical book.

Both women although on paper have lives that others would wish to have seem unsettled and unsatisfied with their lives. They find that with a little help from friends, family and Miss Mary they are a force to be reckoned with.
