I loved this book which is set in the 1930s in the Buckingham Hotel in Mayfair. It focuses on the Grand Ballroom and those that work in it as you would expect from a book written by Anton Du Bec but also follows the lives of other characters who work in the hotel.
I think it probably helps to have read the first one as it follows the same characters plus a few new ones and it's helpful to know their history.
I love following their stories and particularly love Helen in this book who we get to know better and find out more about her past.
This is s great book for those that like dancing but also for those who like finding out how others lived. I hope Anton Du Beke writes another book in this series
