I was excited to try this book as im a huge fan of Anton's from his dance shows and Strictly. This book proves he's much more than just a brilliant dancer.
I haven't read his first novel but i don't feel that it was important to have read that first as I've been told that focused on a different set of characters
The book was well written and you really got a feel for the era it was set in. I'm not normally a fan of period/historical fiction but i really enjoyed the detail and glamour of this book.
There's a little bit of something in this book to keep you going, drama, romance, secrets. Was handy to have a character list at the start of the book so you didn't feel so overwhelmed with remembering who is who.
Overall a very enjoyable read which has left me interested to read the first one.
