Copy arrived on release day - will update once finished!

I will be revising this review once I have finished the book - unfortunately my copy only arrived on release day so I am unable to write a complete review but I will update this as soon as I can. From what I have read so far, this is a nicely written story which moves along at a reasonable pace, helped in part by the shorter chapters. The setting, London in the 1930s, provides a great backdrop. I find it quite helpful that there is a list of characters at the beginning, although it isn't too difficult to remember who is who! This is definitely something that other books could utilise, particularly when there is a large cast. I'm enjoying what I have read so far and look forward to having more time to finish this lovely book.
