I had been looking forward to getting around to the second instalment of Raymond and Nancy's story. I was not disappointed. Lots of issues covered in it including racism and sexism from that period of time.
There are stories within stories in this book, loved the descriptions as could imagine myself there among them. Lots of hidden plots and enough excitement to keep you entertained.
I am sure there will be another book to carry on the saga, which could take us through and beyond the war.
Always love to read a lovely romantic novel and what you imagined happened in these times behind the scenes in a hotel.
In a way it reminds of Downton Abbey, mixed with strictly come dancing. So what is there not to love about this.
