Absolutely loved this book. I wasn't sure that Anton Du Bake could be an amazing dancer and author but it appears he can be both. An appealing cover that immediately made me want to pick it up and read it. Set just before the second world war with a new king and prime minister on the horizon this is based around the Buckingham hotel and the staff who work there. If you enjoyed watching The Halcyon and Downton Abbey then this book is perfect for you. So many characters with stories to tell and wonderful lives being lived. I didn't realise this was a sequel until I had finished the book so I can not judge it alongside the first book. I can only say that it works as a stand alone book, I didn't feel I was missing out.
