The premise of this book was really amazing a glorious hotel with rich socialites and guests all with really beautiful ballroom dancing and sparkly costumes, it all sounds really amazing and I'm guessing a lot and I do mean a lot of people thought exactly that, but I had real trouble with this book, I kept picking it up and putting it down but no matter what I did I just couldn't get through it, it's like Anton was trying too hard to sound overly intelligent which is such a shame because I only wanted to read it really because it was Anton dubeke who wrote it, but it just didn't capture my interest at all I'm afraid it was a real let down, I guess I won't be reading any other books written by the wonderful Anton either, sorry!!
