Set in the 1930's this books gives us many different points of view from people living and connected to a very posh hotel called The Buckingham in the heart of Mayfair. We have accounts from the people right at the top to the servants at the bottom including ballroom dancers, those on the check in desk and guests who live there
I really did try with this book but it just ended up not being for me. I found the descriptions a bit too luxurious and found it hard to find a character that I could like enough that I would car what happened to them. It was slow moving, not much seemed to happen and I wouldn't read it again.
I would only recommend this to someone who is looking for a really easy read.
