This one is no exception and follows the lives of my favourite characters Nancy Nettleton and her brother Frank. Nancy who is a chambermaid is missing Raymond de Guise the man she is madly in love with.
We are taken back to an era many have no knowledge of today.... London. 1937.. just before the start of the second world war. I find this fascinating to read about as I wasn't even born then.
This book will transport you into another era, into a hotel of magnificence and splendour... into music and that magical time for ballroom dancing as it was.
