What a delightful story from the King of ballroom!

Dripping with period glamour and perfectly-pitched characters. Really, it reminded me of an Agatha Christie story (minus the murders), the setting was so wonderfully upper-class and British.

If you want a gentle, character-driven story to transport you far away from current events, this will do the job. You can almost taste the food, feel the swish of satin dresses and hear the big band in the ballroom. Anton does a great job of setting the scene, you can practically see him waltzing around the floor himself!

While I normally go for fantasy stories, this was a very enjoyable change. It's fluffy, sweet escapism and I recommend it to everyone.
