Moonlight Over Mayfair is the first book by Anton Du Beke that I have read and unfortunately it just wasn't for me. It started off really well but I didn't continue to enjoy it after about half way through. This is mainly as this isn't a genre I would normally choose to read. I am grateful that I got the chance to read it though.
However, the story line is good and it is easy to read and follow. The characters are great and relateable. The book itself is also really well written.
The book cover is very appealing and eye catching and really is perfect for this book.
I think this would be a great read for anyone who enjoys period dramas like Downton Abbey.
I didn't recieve this book until the day it was published, hence why the review is a little late.
