I was initially drawn in by the cover of this book and did not know that Anton du beke had a book out. I was even more surprised to learn that Moonlight over Mayfair was his second book, therefore I had not read One Enchanted Evening, so I think it would have been better if I had first read this one first and would recommend doing so. However I still really enjoyed it and I was surprised at how well written it was.
I found this book to be an easy and enjoyable read, which was written and described beautifully, and really transports you to the 1930's. I would recommend this book, however read One Enchanted Evening first.
