This book just sweeps you off your feet with the romance. It seems the author may be suave and sophisticated in real life but he knows how to incorporate this into the pages of his book too. This book is set in 1937 in the grand ballroom of the Buckingham Hotel for it's main part. The book is full of love and drama and Raymond de Guise is absent from the ballroom leaving the hotel manager not a happy man. Nancy Nettleton has found a home at the hotel as a chambermaid and soon is welcoming her brother to the staff as a hotel page keeping family life together. Frank , however, is shy and has to be taken under the wing of another staff member Billy Brogan. But is all as it seems? Change is imminent in London and war is around the corner ....what will lie in store for them both?
