I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advanced copy of Anton De Beke’s wonderful new book MoonLight Over Mayfair.
The hard back edition is simply beautiful! The cover art is just gorgeous and especially the Art Deco style end papers.
This was my first read of an Anton De Beke’s novel and I have to say I was very Impressed. I would not have chosen this book if I wasn’t given it as a pre release as it is not my style of book however this has definitely taught me not to judge a book by its cover and blurb.
As for the story itself it was a follow on from his first book which I never read however I was able to understand and grow very fond of the characters in the story. I am looking forward to his third book coming as I will definitely be giving it a read to see what happened to some of the characters.
