I was hooked from the very first page . Sunday Small is a strong memorable character. From her very first entrance to The Home she makes her mark . As she grows up she makes her first real enemy and will have to leave the only home that she has ever known . She promises her little friend Daisy that she will never forget her and will in fact return for her once she has found a job and a home .
Alas life does not run smoothly for our heroine and she will have many experiences in her life before her happy ending , if indeed there is one .
I really like Rosie Goodwin's books . I always find myself engrossed in them and have been known to stay up till 3 am so I can get to the end . I love the settings too .
