Beautiful cover but the first impression of it failed to pull me in at first read. It got a bit more interesting as it went on but I found it a bit cliche, some actions too over described.. does half a page of a book need to describe how much someone likes cooking? I'm not sure. Maybe I am judging it too early and maybe I would like more if I read more of it but I just found it a bit tedious to begin with. Never heard of this author, I wonder if she can change my mind.
