I am not familiar with the work of Erica James and so I may be judging her unfairly. However, attractive though the cover is, it suggests a cosy, comfortable and heart-warming book. Although there are times, certainly during the last couple of years, when a heart-warming book has been perfect, this one looks a little too predictable and cosy for me.
As the author is a Sunday Times best seller, she clearly has an ardent following, and having read the opening chapters, they will not be disappointed by this latest novel.
