I've always been a fan of Erica James, she's one of my go to authors, me and my mum have read pretty much all of her books. Erica James actually started my love of reading as an adult, I purchased one of her books for my mum for her birthday 12 years ago (neither of us had heard of her). My mum loved the book and told me I had to read it and voila I've not stopped reading since.
This one looks right up my street! I got Marrian Keyes ‘Grown up’ vibes from the first impressions read and I loved that book. I love books that involve families and how they work through the traumas that their going through.
There's always a character in these style of books that you can instantly identify with, for me its Martha.
