The opening of this book is brilliantly written, and is as you'd expect from a Sunday Times Bestselling author. For me, the detail in the introduction makes it a bit too comfortable and predictable. I feel that family drama books can go in a very narrowed direction.
However, I do enjoy the writing style and I believe that fans of this genre and author will really enjoy this new novel.
