I haven't read any of Erica James' novels but the after reading the first five chapters included in the 'sneek peek' I can understand why she's a firm favourite with so many readers.
Although there is a lightness of touch in her writing style, by the time I reached the end of chapter five I already felt drawn into her story and found myself wanting to know more about the characters I'd already met. An exploration of mother and daughter relationships, combined with the impact on individuals when long-kept secrets in a family are revealed, is always a fascinating theme for me so I'm hoping to be fortunate in this draw ... and to be able to satisfy my curiosity about what happens to these characters!
