Reading the blurb I'm not totally sold on the book, but a little intrigued. I really like that it has more than one narrator/protagonist and is a generational story (some great stories I've read had been generational). The only thing I am unsure about is its similarities to Mamma Mia (the movie). Why do I feel like the old friend is a father of one of the daughters? I would love to read with hope that it is not and I haven't just guessed the plot!
