I’m not really sure about this one . The cover is quite attractive but a little bit ‘twee’ and the blurb makes the novel seem quite dramatic , the two don’t seem to go together.The first few chapters provided an easy read and set out the family dynamics , although not all the people are likeable or really believable. The mother seems to be the most convincing character.
