I've never read a book by Erica James before, but really enjoyed Mothers and Daughters. It was an easy read, despite being a decent length, and I was disappointed when it came to the end!

The characters are really relatable and realistically flawed, which made the book much easier to read. The story follows Mother Naomi, and her daughters Marth and Willow, as they get on with life after the loss of their Father and husband, Colin. They're a close knit family, but as always everyone has their moments and their secrets, and the way it's written means that we hear each one of their voices through different chapters.

I have to say, I did find the look of the cover a little off putting. I thought it was a bit too static and made me feel like the book was going to be a little bland.

This is a great story, with easy going pace and easy to follow format. Would recommend!
