I've read and enjoyed several of Erica James books so was very keen to read her latest one. As the title indicates it's a family drama about the relationships between a mother, Naomi, and her two daughters, Martha and Willow. However, several other themes run through the story. The girls are very different and both had very different relationships with their father. There are several secrets which gradually come to light and change their perceptions of each other. The main problem that Martha and Willow have is seeing their mother as a woman with a life to live after her husband's sudden death two years earlier. She has met Ellis who she knew many years ago and they have rekindled their live for each other. I enjoyed this book and found it an enjoyable and easy read which touched on several very important issues. A must for fans of Erica James.
