Although this book didn't have a very complex storyline or many characters, I found it to be a really enjoyable read. It was so easy to visualise each of the six main characters and imagine them as real people. Anchor House sounds charming and having only just returned from a stay near Chichester I could visualise the wonderful seaside setting.
You can't help but sympathise with Naomi who wants to begin a new life with a new man but doesn't want to upset her daughters by moving on only two years after her husband's death. Each of her daughters, Martha and Willow have their own issues to deal with and each deals with them in a different way.
This book is beautifully written with believable characters, believable real life issues and set in what sounds like a beautiful setting. I read this and thought it was almost like a true story about people I had met.
