First Erica James book - will definitely read more
Mothers and Daughters by Erica James is a fab book, a long but easy read with several twists that made me want to keep reading to the end. The story is relatable, with real life characters Naomi, Martha and Willow, as they try to move on from the death of their husband/father, Colin.
Naomi is ready to move forward with her life but is worried how her two daughters will react to her dating. The family are very close, but as with most families, there are secrets that they are keeping from each other.
The story is told from the point of view of the three women, and you really feel like you get to know each woman personally
I loved the powerful emotional stories portrayed in this book, and I love how relatable the characters were, you could really imagine that you were in the story with them. It was my first Erica James book but I will definitely try another one
