I have read several other books by this author and she never disappoints. However I think this is my favourite! Mothers and daughters had me hooked from the start! It was such a brilliant read that I couldn't stop myself reading and had many a late night or early morning devouring it. The characters are beautifully written and I felt like I experienced their joy and heartbreaks with them! Which is always the way with a beautifully written book. There is plenty of joy and heartbreak in this boom so be ready with the tissues!
If I had only one word to describe mothers and daughters it would be ...beautiful. From.the scene setting in Cobbham to the characters and the believable ending. It was just so satisfying and lovely to read. The way the joy, happiness, sadness and fear is written made me contact and really invest in this wonderful book.
