I absolutely loved Mothers and Daughters! I haven't read a book by Erica James before, but I would definitely be interested after reading this one. The book tells the story of Naomi and her two daughters, Martha and Willow; the story initially focuses on Naomi's new love interest, Ellis, and how her daughters react to this news. However, the book then moves onto more serious matters, as Willow finds herself in troubling circumstances and we learn more about her problematic past.
I found all three of the main characters incredibly likeable, and although the relationship with Willow and Rick was somewhat predictable, this didn't make the story any less captivating to follow. I thought the book was really well written throughout and having the chapters separated into the different character's point of view made for easy reading. I would definitely recommend this book!
