My first thoughts were, what is actually going on? Antoine Wilson successfully dropped the readers into the deep end and we were left confused and wanting more! My favourite phrase was how the author wrote 'cold sand' as the beach and sand usually connotate to warmth.
I want to read more as I am intrigued to know more about the drowning man and where he came from. I liked how connected I was with the main characters already in 20 pages!
I really liked the cover as it is bright and as hard to interpret as the book was (in a good way). The colours are a pretty contrast and I love the clouds!
