In Mouth to Mouth a struggling writer travelling economy class is waiting at JFK airport for his connection to Frankfurt having arrived on the red eye from Los Angeles. A man is called to the desk and he recognises the name of Jeff Cook as a student he attended UCLA with, although they didn't take many classes together they knew each other. He reasons it probably isn't him but then they recognise one another and start to chat. Jeff is travelling first class and invites the writer to join him in the first class. They speak over a few drinks while catching up on the intervening twenty years since they were students then Jeff tells him about an occasion when he saved a man's life on Santa Monica beach. Clearly there is a lot more of this story waiting to be told and, in true Antoine Wilson style, there is sure to be a few unexpected twists which makes his books all the more enjoyable. Definitely a book to look forward to reading.
