Immediately I loved that the main character seems ‘gender less’ at no point so we get a clue as to wether they’re male or female and that for me made the story more interesting, not knowing the relationship between them and Jeff. Jeffs storytelling is brilliant and the extract ended abruptly leaving me desperately wanting to carry on reading!
