The writing is good and I can see the book becoming a hit in the following months. However, it's simply not for me. The premise seems lacklustre at best, boring at worst. I usually really enjoy semi-story driven character studies, but this just isn't for me. If you like it, then you should get it, because the prose is stunning and I can promise you that this book will entrap your mind for days.
