The cover is quite stunning and eye catching, but that doesn't necessarily mean the inside will be too. However, having read the sneak peak I am totally hooked already. The opening chapters are compelling as the author first meets Jeff, who instantly remembers him from college. The story that Jeff tells reads like a novel in itself. The sneak peak tells that Jeff is left alone on the beach after the rescue, but the blurb reveals that the man Jeff saved does get in touch to thank him and more.
The style of the writing is very easy to read, almost as though you are reading a letter sent to you from a friend. At only 192 pages, this looks as though it will be a taught thriller.
